Linking Farmers to Agricultural Innovations for Improved Livelihoods

Recognition: for  contributing to the success of the event.

Consumers interacted with Agri-Innovators under HealthyDiets4Africa Agri-Business Accelerator Program, a platform supporting young entrepreneurs and women in agribusiness to scale up their businesses. 4 showcased their innovative products, from nutrient-packed indigenous food snacks to eco-friendly processing techniques that extend the shelf life of perishable produce and enable convenience.  Recognition was given by Dr. Robert Musyoki, Director of KALRO Seeds, and Hon. Pauline Njeri, Chair of the Agriculture Committee, Murang’a County.

Food and Nutrition Awards 2025 Dinner

Award: 1st Place for the category of Nutrition Campaign of the Year at the Food and Nutrition 2025

Recognition for  promoting and creating awareness on the consumption of underutilized indigenous foods. 

Our mission is to end all forms malnutrition while improving livelihoods and environmental sustainability. We inspire your healthier eating habit, rethinking how we grow foods, attaining food security, biodiversity, and climate resilience. With innovation, consumption of these nutrient-rich foods is going to the next chapter of tracking our diet roots.

The award was given by Nutrition and Dietetics Academy.

8th Agrifin Learning Event (ALE) 2024

Winners: Most Impactful in providing Advisory and reaching women farmers 2024, in Kenya and Tanzania

Women, who form the backbone of many rural households, often have limited access to critical resources such as agricultural training, market information, and financial services. By leveraging the Shamba Calendar App, FSPN Africa is bridging this gap.

At the heart of this success is the Shamba Calendar App connects farmers to essential information and resources through a network of lead farmers and Shamba Connectors. These community-based agents play a crucial role in ensuring that farmers, especially women, receive timely agricultural advisory. This award was given by Mercy Corps AgriFin. Read more
